SICK MZN1-06VPS-KRD Magnetic Sensor

SICK MZN1-06VPS-KRD is a compact magnetic cylinder sensor (PN 1023985) designed for precise piston-position detection in C-slot pneumatic cylinders. It features a 25 mm housing with a center-sensing face and a DC 3‑wire, PNP normally open output, making it ideal for quick, reliable position sensing in automation cells. Operating on 10–30 V DC, it draws about 8 mA with no load and up to 70 mA under load, has reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection, and includes a status LED to indicate the switch state. The sensor switches up to 1,000 Hz and offers a delay before availability of ≤ 0.1 ms, with reproducibility ≤ 0.1 mm and typical hysteresis ≤ 1.5 mT. It is IP67 rated for protection against dust and water ingress and is specified for ambient temperatures from −25 °C to +75 °C. The wiring uses an M8, 3-pin connector with knurled nuts and a 0.5 m cable, and it accommodates cylinder configurations with adapters for SMC rails CDQ2/ECDQ2.
