SICK LUT3-610 Luminescence Optical Scanner Device

The SICK LUT3-610 Luminescence Sensor is a compact luminescence scanner that excites fluorescent features with a UV LED at 375 nm and detects emitted light in the 450–750 nm range to verify marks on close-range targets. The 2 x 6 mm light spot is oriented vertically from the long side of the housing, with a sensing distance up to 10 mm from the lens edge and a working range of 0–15 mm. A receiving filter blocks shorter wavelengths (≤420 nm) to suppress background luminescence, improving contrast in fluorescent applications. Power is supplied from 12–30 V DC with ripple under 2 Vpp, and the unit provides a switching (digital) output when luminescence is detected. The 1015396 LUT3-610 features a rugged enclosure measuring 30.4 x 53 x 80 mm and offers an average service life of up to 100,000 hours at +25°C.
