SICK HTB18-B4A2BB Photoelectric Sensor H18 Sure Sense

The SICK HTB18-B4A2BB H18 Sure Sense is a compact hybrid photoelectric sensor with background-suppression detection that covers a 5 mm to 300 mm sensing range and a fast response time of ≤0.5 ms. It operates from 10 V DC to 30 V DC and provides two switching outputs (Q1: PNP, Q2: NPN) in a light-switching configuration, suitable for direct PLC interfacing via a 4-pin M12 connector. With a current draw of ≤20 mA and a ripple less than 5 Vpp, it offers stable operation in electrically noisy environments, and it can source or sink up to 100 mA. The device weighs 18 g and uses a plastic VISTAL housing with a PMMA lens, and it carries IP67 and IP69K enclosure ratings for robust protection against dust and water ingress. Operating temperature ranges from –40 °C to +65 °C (–40 °C to +75 °C storage), and it complies with EMC standards per EN 60947-5-2 and has UL File No. E189383.
