SICK DT50-P2113 Mid Range Distance Sensor

DT50-P2113 is a mid-range laser distance sensor in SICK’s Dx50 family designed for non-contact distance measurement in industrial automation. It covers a measuring range from 0.2 to 20 meters, with performance depending on target reflectivity: up to 20 m for surfaces with about 90% remission, up to 8.5 m for 18% remission, and up to 5 m for 6% remission. The sensor uses a Class 2 laser (EN 60825-1) and is housed in an IP65 enclosure, providing protection against dust and water jets in harsh factory environments. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC and typically draws around 100 mA. The DT50-P2113 offers PNP switching outputs and current-based outputs, enabling direct connection to PLCs and control circuits. Typical response times are selectable at 15 ms, 30 ms, or 80 ms, allowing a balance between speed and noise tolerance for different applications.
