SICK CS1-P3611 Photoelectric Sensor

The SICK CS1-P3611 (CS1P3611) is a single‑channel color sensor in the CS1 family that uses photoelectric color detection to differentiate colors at close sensing distances, enabling color verification in automated inspection and assembly environments with a compact 60 mm sensing range and a convenient 5‑pin M12 interface. It runs on a 12–30 V DC supply and draws up to 100 mA, delivering a PNP output through a 5‑pin M12 connector, and it includes LED illumination to support consistent color sensing under varying ambient light conditions. With an IP67‑rated housing, the sensor is designed to withstand dust, moisture, and rough handling on the factory floor, and it weighs approximately 1.06 lb, contributing to its suitability for stable mounting in confined spaces. Note that this model has been discontinued by Sick and replaced by the CS81‑P3612.
