The SICK CLV430-1010 fixed-mount barcode scanner from the CLV43x family reads 1D barcodes at 170–580 mm in long-range mode, with a front-facing reading field delivered by a raster scanner pattern. Operating at 650 nm visible red light with laser class 2 safety, it supports code resolutions from 0.35 to 0.5 mm and an aperture angle of ≤50°. The unit draws about 4 W from a 10–30 V DC supply and connects via a 15-pin D-Sub HD male connector (0.9 m). Its die-cast zinc housing is finished in light blue (RAL 5012) and rated IP65 for dust and water ingress, weighing 420 g with the connecting cable.
