SICK CDM420-0102 Connection Module

CDM420-0102 is a modular connection module designed for a single SICK sensor, delivering a front‑plate interface with Host and AUX connections and compatible with the CMP400 power supply and US power cord. This kit supports Lector series devices (CLV61x–CLV65x) and RFH6xx interrogators, and includes cloning module (CMC) capability to replicate configuration data. It can host optional accessory modules such as a CMD display, CMP power supply, or, in some configurations, a fieldbus gateway, though CMF is not supported with this version. Interfaces include serial communication (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485) and CAN where supported by the connected sensor, with switching inputs/outputs and five LED indicators for status. SOPAS ET configuration software is provided for setup. The enclosure is polycarbonate, blue (RAL 5012), with IP65 protection and a III safety class, weighing 800 g and measuring 192 mm (L) × 167 mm (W) × 70 mm (H). The scanner connection uses a 15‑pin D‑Sub HD female connector and an internal 9‑pin D‑Sub service plug, designed to be used with a standard SICK connection cable for scanners.
