SICK CDM420-0101 DC Connection Module

CDM420-0101 is SICK’s modular DC connection module for a single sensor in the Lector CLV61x–CLV65x family, offering host and AUX interfaces on the front plate and options for CMD display, CMP power supply, or CMC cloning modules. The blue polycarbonate enclosure (IP65, III protection) measures 192 mm (L) × 167 mm (W) × 70 mm (H) and weighs about 800 g. It operates from 10–30 V DC and adds about 0.5 W to the connected sensor’s power draw; the scanner connection uses a 15-pin D-Sub HD female connector on the front with a 9-pin D-Sub internal service plug. Serial interfaces include RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 (depending on the sensor connected), and the unit features five LEDs for status; it supports 4Dpro connectivity and does not include a fieldbus gateway (CMF) option.
