SICK CDB650-204 Connection Device Basic

The SICK CDB650-204 Connection Device Basic is a compact junction box that links a single SICK sensor to a host, CAN sensor network, or peripheral devices, providing a 2 A fuse-protected power path and an RS-232 interface to the sensor via a 17-pin M12 A-coded connector, with all outputs exposed on screw or spring-loaded terminals. Its blue polycarbonate enclosure carries an IP65 rating, measures 124.2 mm (L) × 113.1 mm (W) × 53.9 mm (H), and weighs approximately 265 g, powered from 10–30 V DC with typical consumption around 1 W. The unit includes 5 M16 cable glands (clamping range ~4.5–10 mm) and an internal 9-pin D-Sub service plug for wiring, and it supports integration with Lector CLV62x‑CLV64x, CLV69x, RFID read/write devices, and InspectorP series, including cloning module support (CMC); it does not support the Display Module CMD, Power Supply CMP, or Fieldbus CMF options.
