The WE12L-2P430 is the emitter module of SICK’s W12 through-beam photoelectric sensor pair, designed to project a precise laser beam for long-range object detection in factory settings. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC, draws approximately 100 mA, and uses a 650 nm visible red laser in a through-beam configuration, with a maximum range of 0–80 meters when paired with the corresponding WS12L receiver; the laser is classified as class 2 and the beam spot measures roughly Ø150 mm at 60 meters. The unit offers potentiometer adjustment and ships with two BEF-KH-W12 spacers plus mounting screws for straightforward integration on conveyors or machine frames.
