SICK AG ET3-P2228 Industrial Photoelectric Sensor

SICK ET3-P2228 is a compact ELF3 proximity-type photoelectric sensor that detects presence within a 10 mm range. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and delivers a single NPN transistor output that can be configured for dark-on or light-on operation via a built-in potentiometer. The device uses a red 660 nm emitter, and wires through an M12 connector for easy field wiring. With a fast 200 µs response time, it suits high-speed sensing tasks on automation lines and conveyors. The sensor is specified for an operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C and is designed for industrial environments.
