Shinko Electric JCR-33A-R Temperature Controller

The Shinko JCR-33A-R/M Digital Indicating Temperature Controller is a compact microprocessor-based unit that provides precise temperature monitoring and control through a relay output. It runs on 120/240 VAC and consumes about 8 VA. The device uses a relay contact rated for 3 A at 250 V AC (resistive) with a secondary 1 A rating for inductive loads (cosφ ≈ 0.4), making it suitable for regulating heating or cooling elements. It features four-digit PV and SV displays (PV in red, SV in green) for clear process readouts. It accepts a broad range of sensors and signals: thermocouples K, J, R, S, B, E, T, N and C; RTD Pt100 (including 3‑wire configurations); and DC inputs of 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–1 V, 0–5 V, 1–5 V, and 0–10 V. The enclosure measures roughly 48 × 96 × 110 mm, facilitating panel mounting in control panels or equipment enclosures.
