Shimpo DT-205L Contact Style Digital Handheld Tachometer

The Shimpo DT-205L is a dual-mode handheld tachometer that provides laser-based non-contact RPM measurement and a contact option via the included 6-inch circumference master wheel with the 200L adapter. It reads 6 to 99,999 rpm on a 5-digit LCD with a 1-second update and supports RPM in contact mode plus YPM, mPM, FPM, IPM, and length units in YRD, m, FT, and IN, with non-contact measurements possible from up to 14 feet away when directed at reflective tape. The instrument's die-cast aluminum housing weighs about 0.8 lb (365 g) and measures 6.6" L x 2.4" W x 1.8" H; it stores up to 13 readings, runs on two AA batteries (roughly 40 hours life), and includes reflective tape, a cone adapter, a carrying case, a master wheel, and a 200L adapter.
