Sharp JW-10CM Link Unit Control Terminal Module

The Sharp JW-10CM Link Unit/Control Terminal Module is an optional add-on for Sharp JW-series PLCs that enables data linking and computer connectivity, allowing JW and ZW units to function as a unified control network with switchable link modes. In Data Link mode, the JW-10CM supports 1:N (DL9) and N:M (DL1) configurations for up to 16 link stations (1 parent, up to 15 children), with a data rate of 307.2 kbps over shielded twisted-pair, and a party-line length up to 500 m, while the DL1 configuration provides RS485-based communication with selectable speeds (19200/9600/4800/2400/1200/600/300 bps) over a shielded twisted-pair line up to 1 km. For system-wide monitoring and orchestration, the module supports a Computer Link via RS232C, connecting PCs or computers to the PLC network through Z-101HE, with support for up to 31 PLCs in a computer-link arrangement and BASIC-command formats; the JW-10CM also enables a host/master role (M-net) with up to seven child stations.
