SEW-EURODRIVE R27 DRE100LC4 Industrial Gear Motor is a compact, four-pole drive that pairs a DRE100LC4 motor (3.7 kW) with the high-strength R27 gear housing to deliver reliable power at 1750 rpm (60 Hz) in a space-conscious package. It is designed for 230/460 V operation at 60 Hz and carries an IP54 protection rating (NEMA A) for rugged industrial environments. The aluminum R27 housing features SEW’s exclusive two-piece seal design—bi-helix FKM inner seal and a double-lip Buna N outer seal—providing three sealing surfaces against contaminants, plus center-tapped output-shaft holes and the option for metric or inch shaft sizing. For installation flexibility, the unit supports standard mounting interfaces (B5 or B14 with centering tenon) and can be ordered with foot or flange mounting to suit a wide range of drive trains.
