7-00747A VREL High-Pressure Sample Flow Control Valve from Sentry Equipment Corp is a 1/4" socket-weld valve designed to regulate high-pressure liquid sample flow, not to shut off flow. Wetted parts are 303/316 stainless steel, and the valve weighs about 4 lb. It is rated for up to 5000 psi at 300°F (345 barg at 149°C). The valve is not a shut-off device; minimum controllable flow is approximately 150 cc/min, ensuring a stable baseline flow in demanding sampling lines. The 7-00747A variant uses a socket-weld connection, distinguishing it from plain-end models such as 7-00744A. In service, it provides precise regulation of sample flow in high-pressure sampling systems, helping maintain consistent sample pressure as upstream conditions fluctuate.
