Sentrol 183-4Z Non-Contact Interlock Position Switch

The Sentrol 183-4Z Non-Contact Interlock Position Switch is a magnetically actuated guard interlock that provides reliable SPDT signaling for safety doors and guards. It is designed with the actuator on the movable guard and the switch mounted on the stationary frame, featuring a coated aluminum enclosure, a 1/2" NPT conduit connection, and protection ratings aligned to IP64 and NEMA 1, 2, 5. The 183-4Z delivers a 100 VA / 84 W load rating with a switching voltage of 120 V at 0.8 A and 28 V at 3.0 A, a contact resistance of 0.2 ohms, and nominal sense/break ranges of 1.4" and 1.8" respectively, with terminals supplied as #6 screws. It is rated for up to 100,000 cycles under full load and up to 200,000,000 cycles in a dry-circuit condition, making it suitable for long-term safety interlock applications on industrial machinery.
