Sensaphone FGD-3010 I Universal Input Module

The eight-channel universal input expansion module for Sensaphone SCADA 3000 (FGD-3010) adds eight configurable inputs to the main system, enabling up to 144 total I/O points across as many as 15 expansion modules. The input channels are identical to those on the SCADA 3000 main unit and can be configured for normally open or normally closed dry contacts, digital logic, run-time accumulation, 0–5 V analog, 4–20 mA analog, or a 10 K thermistor (C & °F), delivering 12-bit resolution with differential inputs. Powered from 10–15 VDC (about 1.5 W), it can be supplied from the SCADA 3000 AUX PWR (battery-backed when the main unit has a battery) or an external 10–15 VDC source. The module connects to the main unit over a four-wire bus and may be located up to 2000 feet away, supporting flexible installation. A 24 V supply option powers 4–20 mA loops, and each input is protected by a 1500 W transient suppressor for surge protection; a microprocessor watchdog further enhances reliability. The FGD-3010 is an optional accessory that complements the SCADA 3000’s I/O, delivering robust, versatile sensing for industrial monitoring and automation applications.
