Senotec R3E-5 Probe Level Sensor

The Senotec R3E-5/12 immersion level sensor (130 11) is a compact, single-switching-point probe designed for vertical mounting to detect liquid levels in non-conductive media. The probe’s PTFE/Al construction and an active sensing zone of 2–45 mm from the tip give reliable level detection when immersed, and the cable length including the 3‑pin DIN 41524 connector measures about 1140 mm. Operating temperatures span -10°C to 250°C at the sensor, with the ambient cable rated from -10°C to 200°C, making it suitable for demanding environments such as glue pots in edge-banding equipment. It is intended for use with Senotec switching amplifiers from the CLS, CLC, CSV, DLC10, and DLC22 series to provide a clean, defined switching output at the chosen level, and its vertical mounting orientation aligns the sensing tip with the liquid surface for precise activation. Common applications include level monitoring in glue pots for edge banding processes and other scenarios involving non-conductive media where a single, defined switch point is required.
