Sealmaster SCHB-16 is a standard-duty hanger bearing unit for screw conveyors, featuring a 1.000 in shaft diameter and a one-piece cast-iron housing that encases a replaceable ball-bearing insert with a 52100 bearing steel inner race that is zone-hardened. It uses a Setscrew Locking Collar for secure mounting, a felt labyrinth seal, and is relubricatable with lithium complex NLGI 2 grease through a 3/4-14 pipe tap, enabling lubrication through the mounting pipe without disassembly. The SCHB-16 is designed for screw conveyors with internal lubrication capability and includes Sealmaster's exclusive lock pin and dimple for direct lubrication and anti-rotation, plus a land-riding retainer that promotes 360° grease circulation around the rolling elements for improved lubrication retention.
