Sealmaster SC-16 HT High Temperature Bearing is a cylindrical cartridge mounted ball bearing in a cast-iron housing designed for high-temperature, dry and dusty service. The Gold Line set-screw variant (SC-16 HT, 724089) uses a 1 in bore, 3-1/8 in outside diameter, and 1-1/32 in width (1.031 in), with a 52100 bearing steel insert and a cast-iron cage finished in black oxide. It employs a high-temperature felt labyrinth seal and flinger to help keep dust out while tolerating elevated temperatures, and it is rated for up to 6,350 rpm. The HT designation indicates increased radial internal clearance to accommodate thermal expansion of components during operation at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for equipment operating in hot, dusty environments where a cartridge-style replacement is preferred over a larger assembly.
