Schunk 304501 DPZ-Plus 40 Universal 3-Jaw Gripper

The Schunk DPZ-plus 40 universal 3-jaw gripper is a sealed pneumatic centric gripper (size 40) designed for repeatable, three-jaw gripping of small to mid-weight parts. Each jaw provides a 2.5 mm stroke with 230 N closing force and 250 N opening force, enabling secure gripping during pick-and-place cycles. Weighing about 0.2 kg, it supports workpieces around 1.15 kg and operates from 2.5 to 8 bar (nominal 6 bar) with a fluid consumption of 5 cm³ per double stroke, while delivering 0.03 s closing and opening times. Protected to IP67 and featuring a maximum finger length of 40 mm with 0.01 mm repeatability, the DPZ-plus 40 is well suited to challenging environments, including cleanrooms (ISO 14644-1 class 5) and compact automation cells.
