Schott S80-55 VisiLED Brightfield Ring Light is a daylight-balanced illumination head for stereo microscopy, delivering even, shadow-free white light around the field of view. The ring head uses LEDs at a color temperature of 5600 K and fits a compact ø66 mm housing designed for integration with SCHOTT’s VisiLED system. It operates from 100–240 VAC and terminates in a DB15M connector for connection to compatible VisiLED controllers. The S80-55 Brightfield head is built in a robust metal housing with a heat sink to sustain long-term use, and SCHOTT quotes a maximum brightness up to 200,000 lux. Working-distance flexibility is provided by interchangeable focus optic rings, offering three distance ranges to accommodate different objective lenses and specimen sizes.
