Schneider Electric’s OsiSense XS608B1PAL2 is a general‑purpose inductive proximity sensor in the XS6 family, designed as a fixed cylindrical M8 device with a stainless steel (304/303) enclosure and a 51 mm body length for robust metal detection. It operates from 12 to 48 V DC with reverse polarity protection and provides a three‑wire, DC, PNP normally‑open (NO) output rated for up to 200 mA with overload/short‑circuit protection, suitable for direct interfacing with standard PLCs.
