Schneider Electric XS512B1PAM12 is a general‑purpose inductive proximity sensor from the OsiSense XS family, configured as a cylindrical M12 device that is flush‑mountable for tight spaces. With a 2 mm sensing distance (Sn) and a length of 50 mm, it uses a nickel‑plated brass enclosure and a PPS front, and it mates via a 3‑wire DC output (PNP, normally open). It operates on 12–24 V DC with reverse polarity protection and supports up to 200 mA DC load current with short‑circuit protection. A 4‑pin M12 male connector provides the electrical interface, and a pre‑cabled version with a 2 m lead is available.
