Schneider Electric XCSRC12M12 RFID Safety Sensor

The XCSRC12M12 Preventa RFID safety switch from Telemecanique Sensors is a compact, contactless safety device in the XCS family that uses RFID coding for safe access and supports daisy-chain connections with unique pairing. It is powered from 24 V DC (SELV/PELV per IEC 60204-1) and provides two solid-state, PNP NO safety outputs through two M12 male connectors, with a rated current of 60 mA and an insulation voltage of 30 V DC. The sensor pair consists of a 50 × 15 × 15 mm transponder and a reader measuring 119.6 × 30 × 15 mm, housed in Valox, offering an assured operating distance of 10 mm and an assured release distance of 35 mm face-to-face, with three approach directions and rotary transponder sensing. Compliance and safety ratings include IEC 60947-5-2 and IEC 60947-5-3, ISO 14119, plus IEC 61508 SIL3, IEC 62061 SILCL3, and ISO 13849-1 PL e, with certifications from CE, cULus, TÜV and others.
