Schneider Electric VCF6 Load Disconnect Switch

Schneider Electric TeSys VCF6 load disconnect switch is a three-pole, 690 V, 175 A switch disconnector built for door-mounted installation in UL-enclosed equipment. The assembly pairs the V6C switch mechanism with the red handle and yellow front plate KCF3PZC (90 × 90 mm) and installs on the enclosure door using four screws for a secure isolation point. The handle is padlockable for up to three padlocks, enabling lockout/tagout during maintenance. This IP65-rated unit provides reliable main power isolation and emergency-stop functionality in control panels and industrial machinery, with motor-switching capability up to about 37 kW (depending on voltage and duty). As part of the TeSys VCF family, VCF6 is designed to meet a spectrum of standards, including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and marine certifications, and is intended for use wherever a rugged, door-mounted 175 A disconnect is required in 690 V electrical systems. It is designed to integrate with other TeSys VCF door-mounted disconnects for standardized isolation schemes across panels and machines.
