Schneider Electric STBNIP2212 Network Interface Module

The Schneider Electric STBNIP2212 is a standard Ethernet network interface module (NIM) for Advantys STB islands, providing a single Ethernet port at 10 Mbit/s to enable Modbus TCP/IP communications between an STB island and a PLC or HMI on an industrial network. As a standard NIM in the STB family, it sits on the STB backplane and handles TCP/IP traffic and Modbus messaging, with SNMP services for network management and an embedded web server for configuration and diagnostics. The module is designed for harsh industrial environments, with an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 °C, and it is powered from an external 24 V DC supply (the NIM itself is supplied via the system backplane from a 24 V DC source). IP addressing is configurable through dedicated parameters, supporting both static and DHCP addressing; setup, IP parameter viewing, and diagnostics are accessible through the embedded web interface.
