Schneider Electric Square D FAL22020 Circuit Breaker

Schneider Electric’s Square D FAL22020 is a 2-pole molded-case circuit breaker rated for 240V AC and 20A, designed for protective isolation on 240V single-phase circuits. It employs thermal-magnetic trip protection and provides up to 10 kA interrupting capacity at 240V, with lug-type terminations on both the line and load sides for straightforward wiring. Its physical footprint is roughly 6 in tall, 4.13 in long, and 3 in wide, making it compatible with standard Square D enclosures that accept FAL-series MCCBs. This circuit breaker is part of the FAL family and is intended for general-purpose branch-circuit protection in commercial or industrial panels. Note that Schneider Electric discontinued the FAL22020 on July 12, 2021, and the reference is listed as being replaced by the PowerPacT B family, 20A, 2-pole, 600Y/347VAC, 14kA, I-Line, thermal-magnetic, 80% rating.
