Schneider Electric SM506A100 is a flat-profile ultrasonic proximity sensor from the TES/Superprox family that detects presence at a distance of 2 to 39 inches (roughly 50 to 990 mm) without physical contact. It operates from a 15 to 24 V DC supply, draws about 80 mA, and provides an analog output, with a 200 Hz frequency response and a 2 m cable for straightforward integration into control systems. The compact housing measures 3.63 in long, 1.75 in wide, and 3.06 in deep (about 92 × 44 × 78 mm) and is crafted from ULTEM with IP67/NEMA 4X protection for harsh environments; operating temperature ranges from 32 to 122 °F (0 to 50 °C) and storage from -40 to 212 °F (-40 to 100 °C).
