Description:
Schneider Electric NW-FR89D200 Fiber Optic Repeater extends Modbus Plus networks by providing two fiber-optic channels and an electrical Remote I/O interface, enabling fiber links between remote I/O nodes in a 19-inch rack.
It operates from a nominal power supply of 125/24 Vdc and exposes two fiber transceiver channels (CH1 and CH2) with RX and TX paths, alongside an MBUS+/RIO electrical interface for fiber-optic bus connections to remote I/O or network segments.
Within Schneider’s fiber repeater family, the NW-FR89D200 is functionally identical to the 490NRP954 model, reinforcing the same topology and mounting in a 19-inch rack configuration.
