Schneider Electric LRD16 Thermal Overload Relay

Schneider Electric LRD16 TeSys LRD thermal overload relay is a three-pole motor protection device designed to guard three-phase motors from overload and fault currents. It is rated for 9–13 A and supports systems up to 690 VAC, with class 10A trip characteristics that trigger protection when motor current exceeds the selected range. As part of Schneider Electric's TeSys LRD/Deca family, the LRD16 integrates with motor control circuits to provide resettable protection alongside TeSys D contactors in many panel designs. Typical applications include protection for pumps, fans, conveyors, and other three-phase machines in industrial environments, where reliable thermal sensing helps prevent winding damage and unplanned downtime.
