Schneider Electric ION7550 Power Quality Meter

PowerLogic ION7550 Power Quality Meter from Schneider Electric is a revenue-class energy and power quality meter designed for utility networks, mains, or critical loads on HV/LV grids. It provides true RMS measurements with comprehensive power quality features, including event and min/max logging, historical logging (up to 800 channels) with expandable memory, sag/swell monitoring, harmonics analysis, and waveform capture at 256 samples per cycle. The meter supports flexible communications—RS-232/485, Ethernet, and optional fiber—and a range of software interfaces (Modbus, DNP3.0, GPS, EtherGate, ModemGate) for integration into monitoring systems. Power and input options include a 85-240 VAC supply (47-63 Hz) or 110-300 VDC, with ION7550 designed for automatic current ranges from 0.005 to 20 A (standard) and overload capability up to 500 A RMS for 1 s, plus 50 A RMS for 1 s on 1 A ranges. Voltage measurement covers 57 V to 347 V line-to-neutral and up to 600 V line-to-line; burden is roughly 0.05 VA per phase at 5 A.
