Schneider Electric I2867 Programmable Logic Controller

The i2867 Infinet II Terminal Controller from Schneider Electric (Andover Controls) is a compact HVAC-focused DDC controller designed for applications such as packaged units, heat pumps, unit ventilators, and other terminal-unit systems. It offers four universal inputs that accept 0–5 V DC signals, digital on/off, counter signals up to 4 Hz, and temperature inputs, plus five Form A triac outputs for fans, dampers, and accessory devices, and two 0–10 V analog outputs for valve or actuator control. A built-in sensor interface supports the Andover Smart Sensor or standard room sensors, enabling straightforward setpoint and occupancy management. The i2867 stores control software in non-volatile flash memory with an on-board Real-Time Clock that remains synchronized over the Infinet II network, and a battery backup helps preserve runtime data during power interruptions. For networking, it operates on the Infinet II fieldbus and requires a separate isolation transformer for each controller. Programming and configuration are performed via Schneider Electric Continuum CyberStation SX 8000 or a local terminal, and the unit is designed to integrate with other Infinet devices and Continuum/Infinity systems to enable coordinated control across multiple zones.
