Schneider Electric GV3P40 TeSys GV3P is a three-pole motor protection circuit breaker (thermal-magnetic) designed for DIN-rail mounted control panels. It provides a 30–40 A current rating (GV3P40 is the 40 A variant) with a magnetic release for instantaneous trips plus a thermal element for overload protection. Compatible with a wide AC voltage range of 230–690 VAC, it can protect motors up to 18.5 kW across that range. The device features EverLink back-terminals for reliable wiring connections and a front rotary knob for manual operation, aligning with the GV3P family’s manual starter and protector function. It is rated for IP20 enclosure protection, suitable for indoor panel installation, and offers a fault-current interrupt capability of 5 kA at the rated voltage, delivering robust protection for small-to-medium motors in automation and processing applications.
