Schneider Electric FAL34100 Molded Case Circuit Breaker

Schneider Electric Square D FAL34100 molded case circuit breaker is a 3-pole, 100 A thermal-magnetic MCCB rated for up to 480 V AC, designed for use in distribution panels and control circuits where reliable overcurrent protection is required. Built on the FA frame family with line and load lug terminals, the device measures about 4.5 in wide, 4.13 in deep, and 6 in high, and supports UL/CSA/NOM listings with a 240/480 V AC 50/60 Hz operating range and a 250 V DC rating. This 3‑pole unit provides standard long-time and instantaneous trip functions, and is commonly used in industrial or commercial feeder applications where 100 A protection at 480 V is appropriate. The FAL34100 model was discontinued by Schneider Electric on December 8, 2020, with end-of-service declared for December 31, 2020. Schneider Electric recommends the PowerPact B family as a direct substitute for 100 A, 3-pole protection in a 600Y/347 VAC configuration, such as the BDL36100, which offers a 14 kA interrupting capacity and compatible lug terminals.
