Schneider Electric CIM3F Micrologic Communications Adapter

The CIM3F Micrologic Communications Adapter is a field-installable circuit-breaker accessory that links Micrologic trip units to Schneider Electric’s Powerlogic energy management system, enabling centralized access to breaker data in a single hardware–software workflow. It supports LE, ME, NE, PE, and SE frame breakers and communicates with Micrologic trip units through the Powerlogic Product Interface (Class 3050 Type PIF-3), so trip-unit data can be read by the Powerlogic platform for monitoring and integration with broader energy management workflows. The communications path is established via a cable that connects the CIM3F to the PIF-3 interface, a setup described in installation literature as the means to exchange Micrologic information with Powerlogic across field-installed configurations. This module is documented as a CB accessory compatible with Full Function Series B Micrologic trip units on the LE/ME/NE/PE/SE frames. Schneider Electric discontinued the CIM3F on July 12, 2021.
