Schneider Electric BMXDDI1602H Digital Input Module

Schneider Electric BMXDDI1602H is a 16-channel discrete input module for the Modicon X80 family that provides 16 isolated digital inputs with 24 V DC current-sink (logic-positive) wiring. It uses a removable 20-pin terminal block for field wiring and is designed for use with X80-compatible controllers in industrial automation. The module is IP20-rated and supports 24 V DC nominal input, with an input impedance of 6.8 kΩ and a high-level threshold around 11 V, drawing about 3.5 mA per channel. Sensor supply can be 19–30 V (up to 34 V allowed briefly, up to 1 hour per day), and response times are typically 4 ms with a maximum of 7 ms. Operating temperature range is -25 to 70 °C, and Schneider cites an MTBF of approximately 738,749 hours at 30 °C ambient. For protection, an external fast-blow fuse of 0.5 A is used.
