Schneider Electric BMEXBP1200 Modicon Backplane

Schneider Electric BMEXBP1200 is a 12-slot Modicon X80 rack backplane that provides a dual X-bus and Ethernet backbone for Modicon automation modules. It includes one CPS power-supply slot and twelve module slots designed to accept a mix of X-bus and Ethernet modules, with eight connectors capable of carrying either X-bus or Ethernet signals and four additional X-bus connectors for X-bus modules. An extension connector supports X-bus rack expansion, while two shielding-bar fixing points, a protective ground screw, and mounting features enable secure installation. Module pins anchor points and locking-screw holes are included, along with four mounting holes for common fasteners (M4, M5, M6, or UNC #6-32). The BMEXBP1200 weighs about 1.398 kg (3.08 lb) and is intended for Modicon X80 configurations with BMXCPS power supplies, BMEP58 or BMEH58 processors, I/O modules, and various application-specific modules, commonly used in conjunction with the Modicon M340 automation platform to deliver a robust backplane for high-density I/O and Ethernet communications.
