Schneider Electric BCX1-CR-127-INF Infinet Controller
Schneider Electric BCX1-CR-127-INF Infinet Controller
Description:
The Schneider Electric BCX1-CR-127-INF Infinet Controller is the bCX1-series Controller/Router for Andover Continuum, designed to bridge the Continuum Infinet network with BACnet/IP. It supports up to 127 Infinet nodes on its Infinet subnet, enabling large-scale I/O and device connectivity within a single gateway. As a native BACnet router/controller, it acts as a hub for BACnet communications while routing Infinet traffic between devices and the network. One of the bCX1’s two communication ports can be configured as an XDriver port, turning the unit into a gateway that integrates non-Continuum equipment. With an XDriver installed, Modbus/IP and Modbus/RTU drivers are available, allowing third-party equipment such as RTUs, meters, and VFDs to be monitored and controlled from CyberStation or web.Client, with setpoints adjustable in the same interface. The Infinet functionality supports 127 Infinet nodes; the product is part of the Andover Continuum NetController/Controller-Router family, designed for building automation applications requiring scalable Infinet device management, interoperability with third-party equipment through XDrivers, and centralized BACnet/IP access. The combination of Infinet network support, dual-port architecture, and optional XDriver connectivity makes the BCX1-CR-127-INF a focused gateway for integrating legacy Infinet devices with BACnet/IP networks in commercial buildings.
