Schneider Electric AS-BDEP-216 Discrete Input Module

Schneider Electric AS-BDEP-216 is a 16-channel discrete input module for the Modicon TSX Compact DIN-rail I/O system, designed to collect digital signals from field devices at 24 VDC. It provides two eight-input groups, with isolation to the coupler for each input and requires an external 24 VDC supply for eight inputs while drawing 5 V at 15 mA internally from the I/O bus. The module tolerates ON levels of 12–30 VDC and OFF levels of -2 to +5 VDC, with an ON-state input current of about 7 mA at 24 VDC, making it suitable for a variety of factory sensors and switches within a TSX Compact configuration. Used to expand digital input capacity in Schneider Electric automation ecosystems, it mounts on a standard DIN rail and accepts 24 VDC field devices for reliable digital signaling into the TSX Compact PLC.
