Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 Analog Input Module

The Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 Analog Input Module is a four-channel analog input card designed for the Modicon 984 I/O family, providing isolated, high‑impedance interfaces for precise sensor and transducer signals in industrial control systems. It accepts both voltage and current inputs, with unipolar voltage ranges of 0–1 V and 0–10 V and bipolar ranges of ±1 V and ±10 V, and current ranges of 0–20 mA (unipolar) or ±20 mA (bipolar), up to a maximum input voltage of +30 VDC. Each channel offers an input impedance greater than 1 MΩ for voltage signals and 50 Ω for current signals, and the module delivers 11-bit resolution with a sign bit for accurate digital representation, along with a conversion time under 10 ms per channel. The AS-BADU-206 is powered from an external 24 VDC supply (typical 60–100 mA) and features bus optically isolated protection to help safeguard the controller from electrical transients. Operating temperature range is 0–60°C, making it suitable for standard industrial environments.
