Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 Analog Input Module

Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 Analog Input Module is a four-channel input card for the Modicon 984 I/O family that brings isolated analog signals into the controller bus. Each channel accepts both voltage and current signals: voltage ranges include bipolar ±1 V and ±10 V and unipolar 0–1 V and 0–10 V with a maximum input of +30 VDC; current ranges cover bipolar ±20 mA and unipolar 0–20 mA, with an input impedance exceeding 1 MΩ for voltage inputs and about 50 Ω for current inputs. The module provides 11-bit resolution with a sign bit and converts measurements in under 10 milliseconds per channel. It requires an external 24 VDC supply and typically draws 60–100 mA; the bus is optically isolated from the module for protection in industrial environments. As part of Schneider Electric’s Modicon 984 line, the AS-BADU-206 is a legacy analog input option (End of commercialization June 30, 2006; End of service November 19, 2024), so it may appear in older installations or catalogs for spare parts but is not a current catalog item.
