Schneider Electric AS-B875-102 Digital Input Module

AS-B875-102 is an eight-channel, high-speed analog input module for Schneider Electric’s Modicon 800-series controllers, designed to convert sensor signals into digital inputs for PLC processing. It supports eight-channel operation or a four-channel configuration via the internal switch bank (SW‑A7 toggles between configurations). The module provides multiple input ranges, including voltage: ±10 V, ±5 V, 0–10 V, 0–5 V, and 1–5 V, and current: 4–20 mA, 0–20 mA, and 0–40 mA, with a 12‑bit ADC resolution and ±0.1% of full‑scale accuracy at 25°C and ±0.02% FS linearity at 25°C. Update time is 2.4 ms for four channels, enabling timely monitoring of fast-changing analog signals. It is compatible with Modicon I/O rack configurations and can map to related analog input assemblies such as BMXAMI0810 for eight-channel voltage or current measurements, making it suitable for process control, data acquisition, and instrumentation tasks within an automation system.
