Description:
The Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 is a four-channel analog input module for the Modicon 984 family, converting sensor signals to PLC data with bus optical isolation. Each channel supports voltage inputs in bipolar ranges of ±1 V and ±10 V, or unipolar ranges of 0–1 V and 0–10 V, and current inputs in 0–20 mA (unipolar) or ±20 mA (bipolar), with a maximum input voltage of +30 VDC and input impedance greater than 1 MΩ for voltage signals and 50 Ω for current signals. The module provides 11-bit resolution per channel and completes conversions in under 10 milliseconds per channel. It is powered from an external 24 VDC supply, typically drawing 60–100 mA, and operates from 0 °C to 60 °C.
