Schneider Electric ACX-2-0000000 (ACX 5720) is an Ethernet-based access controller in the ACX 57xx family, designed to govern two doors with up to four card readers and six universal inputs, and it provides two Form C relay outputs for door locks and related hardware. The 5720 model supports Enter/Exit operation for two doors and, with expansion I/O modules, can support up to four Enter-Only doors. It connects via Ethernet and also supports the Infinet field bus, enabling integration with Schneider Electric NetController II and its enhanced features, and it can monitor tamper switches located on cabinet doors and walls as part of the access control system. The ACX-5720 replaces older ACX 780/781 controllers and is commonly used in facilities that require card reader and keypad integration, door sensors, alarms, and networked access management for two doors.
