Schneider Electric 8501XO40V02 Relay

Schneider Electric's 8501XO40V02 is a NEMA Type X machine-tool control relay that combines a rugged, four-pole base with four normally open contacts and a 110/120 VAC coil rated for 50/60 Hz, delivering up to 10 A resistive at 600 VAC. It features straight-through wiring, self-lifting pressure-wire terminals, and plug-in contact cartridges for quick field replacement and easy NO/NC configuration changes by swapping cartridges. Because the 8501X family is modular, the base accepts additional contact cartridges for expanded function, and an 8501XB40 add-on deck can be used to create an eight-pole configuration when needed. The unit is designed for long life and high reliability in industrial environments, with a wide operating temperature range from -40°F to 160°F (-40°C to about 71°C), and variants in North America commonly employ screw-clamp terminals for secure connections.
