Schneider Electric 171CCC96030 is a M1/M1E processor adaptor for Modicon Momentum PLCs, designed to sit between the Momentum CPU and the I/O bus to provide Ethernet connectivity and expanded memory. It includes 544 KB RAM and a single Ethernet port, plus one I/O bus interface, and operates in Transparent Ready mode to streamline integration with Momentum systems. The Ethernet network supports up to 96 devices communicating concurrently, and the module's internal memory comprises user memory and state RAM. The part has been discontinued (discontinued on September 27, 2024), with Schneider Electric listing a Unity M1E-based replacement: the Unity M1E processor with RS232/485, Ethernet, USB, and an I/O bus via part 171CBU98090.
