Schneider Electric 170PNT11020 Communication Adapter

Schneider Electric's 170PNT11020 Communication Adapter is a Modbus Plus interface for the Modicon Momentum automation platform, designed to mount with a Momentum I/O base such as 170ADM69051. It supports Modbus Plus networking at 1 Mbit/s and uses a tap-off cable for daisy-chain connections, enabling reliable fieldbus communication across Momentum systems. It functions as the communication foundation for Momentum, with switch-selectable addressing and a fail-safe mode to help protect network integrity. It was discontinued for commercialization on February 23, 2026, with an end-of-service date planned for December 31, 2029.
