Schneider Electric 170AAI14000 Analog Input Module

Schneider Electric’s 170AAI14000 is a 16-channel distributed analog input base for Modicon Momentum PLCs. It provides sixteen single-ended analog input channels that accept current or voltage signals from field sensors, enabling remote sensing in Momentum automation configurations. Each channel’s analog value is read into a dedicated word, and the 170AAI14000 base uses 16 contiguous words in the Momentum memory map, simplifying data transfer to the processor. The module includes 16 LEDs for channel status signaling, giving at-a-glance visibility into which inputs are active or faulted. As a Momentum analog input base, it expands a controller’s input capability in decentralized I/O layouts, making it suitable for process and machine-control applications where a compact, multi-channel analog interface is required.
